    Director of Sales

    The Director of Sales is responsible for building and executing 4204’s sales plan with the goal of increasing sale volume. This requires building strong relationships with the internal team as well as with the distributors and key accounts. Work closely with the Head Brewer and the Directors of Marketing and Tasting Support to achieve growth. The Director of Sales will report directly to the owner and have a key role in shaping the future sales and marketing decisions.

    We are located near St. Louis, MO.



    Strong relationships with key buyers and distributors in IL, MO, KS, or KY highly desired.



    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Manage and grow a sales force to achieve targeted growth goals
    Manage beer sales by market
    Maintain relationships with major chain buyers by holding annual and semi-annual sales meetings at all key accounts.
    Plan chain promotional calendars that include display programs, POS/POP programs, tastings, and events with Sales Staff.
    Managing chain audits and audit reports to/from distribution.
    Must be able to develop and practice our selling process and selling skills
    Develop high potential employees and work cooperatively with others across the 4204 team.
    Monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports benchmarked against sales goals
    Assisting in developing project plans for beer distribution.
    Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM data for all customers with help of Sales Staff.
    Communicate the outcomes of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group to the owner and Management team.
    Collaborating with the operations and finance to evaluate project performance and make any necessary adjustments
    Participating in activities as needed: including beer festivals, tastings, and demonstrations.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    At least three years of experience in the craft brewery industry.
    Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Strong Knowledge of the Local Market Preferred
    Exceptional Leadership skills
    Commitment to achieving results
    Valid Driver’s License
