The Forklift Operator position is part of a highly dedicated and motivated team. This person will act as a support member for shipping, receiving, moving of materials and related logistics, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Forklift certification is required. The role of the Forklift Operator includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Operation of forklift and other material handling systems as required
Assist Warehouse Manager in the following areas:
- Finished goods order picking and assembly
- Finished goods order fulfillment and loading
- Receiving and shipment of materials
Assist Warehouse Manager in warehouse floor organization and upkeep:
- Maintain organization of material storage lanes and other material storage areas
- Partial pallet organization and consolidation
- Maintenance, cleanliness and upkeep of loading dock and warehouse floors
Assist with warehouse inventory counts
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Forklift certification – required
1+ years forklift operation experience
Ability to lift and move 55 pounds repeatedly and maneuver 175 lbs. kegs as needed
Highly organized individual who will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-functioning warehouse
Ability to work all shifts, additional hours & weekends as necessary
Must be an open and good communicator. Respect for co-workers, supervisors, and managers is a necessity.
Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis
Some work in loud production environments (80+ dbs.)
A great attitude and passion for craft beer and coffee is required!
