    Raw Materials Worker

    The primary responsibility of the Raw Materials Worker is to provide support to the brewing production staff by receiving, staging, organizing, and loading of brewing materials. The Raw Materials Worker must keep materials staging areas clean and organized at all times. The Raw Materials Worker must coordinate with the brewing staff to effectively manage the processing of beer to meet the demands of the production schedule. The Raw Materials Worker will conduct necessary inventories with the help of the Brewing Supply Chain Associate and must possess an open personality and ambitious attitude while conducting themselves in a friendly and positive manner. The Raw Materials Worker must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while remaining focused on safety and quality of work. This is an entry level position and chance to be part of a dynamic and fast growing successful brewery.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate with Shift Brewers and Lead Shift Brewers to load grain, sugars, or other brewhouse additions to meet the demands of the brewing schedule.
    • Receive and organize all raw material shipments, which includes but is not limited to malt, hops, sugars, enzymes, coffee, extracts, and other additives. Coordinate with the warehouse department when needed.
    • Confirm that all brewing material being staged is correct and reflects the Master Recipe.
    • Ensure malt room, malt staging area, upper brewhouse and hop cooler are clean and organized. Devote at least 2 hours every week to ensure the hop cooler is organized.
    • Along with the Brewing Supply Chain Associate and Brewing Operations Manager, maintain raw material inventory (malt, hops, etc.) needed for production.
    • When requested by a Lead Shift Brewer, run basic cold-side cellar operations including CIPs, transfers, and barrel and firkin racking.
    • Complete all work according to Two Roads SOP’s and safety programs.
    • Report required maintenance and safety issues.
    • Communicate with the incoming shift and report to the Lead Shift Brewers to ensure a complete information exchange at each shift change
    • Ensure that all production data is logged in the appropriate place(s).
    • Any other tasks as specified by the Lead Shift Brewer. Any tasks delegated to the Raw Materials Worker by the Warehouse staff needs to be approved by the Lead Shift Brewer first.
