Consulting Opportunity
So I had this really great idea for those of you that have consulting services. I have no interest in getting into the consulting end of things so I'm just passing this idea along just because!
As of January 1st California type 75 brewpubs will be given off sale privileges. This is great for brewpubs that are actual breweries but for the vast majority it is going to be difficult if not impossible to comply with the new regs. The new regs dictate that you must not only brew 200 bbl but you need to document sales of 200 bbls of which donations will not be counted.
So the idea is simple. Draft a letter offering your services to bring their brewpubs up to compliance and send them to the 150 or so type 75's across the state!
And btw ABC did a sweep of about 70 of these licensees and about 50 of them were out of compliance.
