FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly
WAGE: Depends on Experience
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are accepting resumes for a brewer position in our small production brewery. Our
new brewer will be expected to contribute in all parts of production from handling
and organizing raw ingredients, brewing, cellar work, yeast handling, filtration, tank
cleaning/sanitizing, kegging and bottling beer, and assist in installation and upkeep of
equipment as we expand.
The proper fit for this position is someone who is dedicated to the craft of brewing with
a strong appreciation for good beer. He or she is a hard worker, capable of multi-tasking
effectively, and able to work with sharp focus and tidiness.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to lift 55 pound bags of malt and 44 pound boxes of hops repeatedly
• Safely operate a stand up electric forklift
• Comprehend and remember procedures
• Self motivate and maintain a fast pace of detailed, accurate work
• Contribute to our obsessive cleanliness
• Formal brewing education, and a background in math and science are a strong plus
• Brewing experience and solid references are a must

This is an hourly position, requiring 40 hours per week, with competitive pay based
