  • Looking into Crowler Machines

    Hi all,

We are currently in the process of shopping Crowler machines. Just wanted to put some feelers out there to see what the pros/cons are for different manufacturers. Ideally, we'd like to be able to fill 16oz bright cans for sales samples as well, so if there is a modular seamer that someone can point us to, that would be awesome.

Any and all help is much appreciated!!

    Prost!!

We tried and then sold one made by Wisconsin Aluminum. Be aware that they are a high maintenance rig, requiring constant oil and grease at various points. You need to read your seams with some manual metrology devices when you get it so you have a baseline on your set up which you can duplicate when things go out of adjustment. The tendency of any Bartender in this area is to leave the machine dirty.
They may not make much sense in a high volume house. I have some spare parts on hand for that model for sale.

We use a Oktober Seamer MK16V2 Pro. Great machine, works perfect out of the box. It works for 12oz and 16oz cans.

        Also in the market

wborkmann, I am also in the market for a crowler seamer for a start-up. I have tried to get in touch with Crowler Nation (through Oskar Blues) but have not had any luck getting a response. Very interested in other options, opinions and recommendations.
