Athletic Brewing Company is looking for a professional to take our packaging operations to the next level. Athletic Brewing is pioneering a revolution in non-alcoholic craft beer and building our team with hungry, self-starters excited to join us on that mission. The ideal candidate would be a team player who has experience operating a busy packaging operation, have an interest in mechanical operations, and a high regard for quality. They will work in tandem with our highly experienced and awarded brewing team as well as veteran quality control professionals. This would be a full-time position with full benefits and compensation consummate with experience.
Duties:
Packaging:
Perform all tasks related to packaging including but not limited to inventory management, full operation and maintenance of CODI canning line and pasteurizer, scheduling, keg cleaning and filling with keg washer.
Inventory Management:
Assist with all incoming and outgoing materials and develop a system that will keep all inventory and orders organized, rotated and easy-to-useuse. Work with brewery, lab and sales to determine best path to satisfy orders while maintaining highest degree of product integrity
Maintenance:
Assist in developing a comprehensive written maintenance schedule for all equipment related to packaging. Schedules should be daily, weekly, monthly and annual.
Ideal Experience/Skills:
Passionate, honest, dependable, integrity, high attention-to-detail
Forklift experience/certification
Warehouse experience
Strong technical understanding of sanitation
Well versed in packaging and package theory
Experience in cellaring and brewing production valued
Strong mechanical background
Ability to keep detailed records
Ability to operate fluently in a team environment with high communication and organizational skills
Results-driven
Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of operating in a brewhouse (lifting 50 lbs, cleaning, climb stairs, etc.)
Personal curiosity in improving systems
