Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, installation and repair requirements on facility and production equipment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain standard facility equipment and systems
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and complete corresponding daily reports
Follow and maintain OSHA and company safety policies on all maintenance work and projects
Maintain lighting, plumbing, roofing, and restaurant, and brewing industrial equipment
Collaborate with all departments to provide repairs and improvements to new/existing equipment
Diagnosis equipment failures and make necessary repairs while minimizing production down time through effective troubleshooting and communication with operations team
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years Maintenance Mechanic experience including but not limited to; HVAC, glycol, mechanical, heavy equipment operations, electrical,draft systems, plumbing, as well as construction, and remodeling of facilities including drywall and carpentry
Strong oral/written communication skills
Basic Welding Skills-TIG & MIG
Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
Demonstrated ability to accurately assess mechanical and electrical problems, make recommendations
Ability to work flexible schedule, including occasional overtime and/or nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Brewery or Wine & Spirits Industry
