Duties include assisting with all packaging operations (prep/bottling/kegging/canning), cleaning and maintenance of packaging equipment, stocking and organizing of fridges and cold storage, keg cleaning, occasional prep work of brewing ingredients. Potential to gain experience and shift work in brewing a possibility.
Candidates must be highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment, able to work quickly and efficiently with high attention to detail, are neat and organized, have great communication skills, have the ability to work alone without supervision, as well as part of a team, ability to take criticism in order to ensure highest quality product. Must be able to lift 55+ lbs safely, and have a clean "G" Driver's Licence for accessing storage facilities.
Experience working in packaging as well as brewing an asset. Must be willing to learn all aspects of packaging, including, but not limited to beer quality, appropriate sanitation, carbonation, removal of oxidation, have knowledge of clean-in-place (CIP) processes. Forklift experience is an asset. Some work on weekends may be required.
