    Victory Brewing, established in 1996 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, is one of America’s true pioneers in the craft beer industry, After 20-plus years of craft brewing excellence, Victory has grown to be offered in three taprooms in the Philadelphia area and sold in 35 states and nine countries.

    The company is a part of the Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV) organization, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, which also owns Southern Tier and Sixpoint brewing companies. ABV has a vision of creating a new model for craft beer partnerships by preserving brewery independence while pooling resources to gain scale and depth of expertise in operations, marketing and financial resources.

    In addition to Victory Brewing’s three taprooms, ABV also operates three taprooms under the Southern Tier brand (Lakewood, NY, Pittsburgh, Cleveland), along with one taproom in Charlotte that houses all three of the Southern Tier, Sixpoint and Victory brands.

    Position Summary


    The Sales & Marketing Specialist is a newly created role that will focus on increasing traffic to the company’s three Victory Brewing taproom locations and ensuring that guests have a positive brand experience. The Sales & Marketing Specialist will partner with the Regional Retail Manager, Senior Taproom Marketing Manager, Events Manager, taproom management staff and brewing team to develop and execute a quarterly marketing plan and thematic programs and events at a high level to deliver a positive customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop and manage a quarterly marketing plan and monthly event calendar that support the taproom’s overall efforts to drive customer traffic, generate revenue and build brand awareness.
    • Manage social playbook for the taprooms and post/engage with guests on a consistent basis to create a local, neighborhood feel.
    • Develop target list of social influencers within each taproom’s trade area, nurture relationships and drive positive online word of mouth.
    • Capture photo/video content in the taproom that follows the social playbook and that can be used for future social/digital content.
    • Monitor online listing profiles for the taproom to ensure that all information (e.g., hours, events, menu changes) about the taproom is current and readily available for potential guests to search.
    • Monitor, track and respond to online reviews for the taproom and escalate to management team as needed.
    • Work with Senior Taproom Marketing Manager to analyze event performance and make recommendations to revise or update programs to improve guest experience.
    • Work with Field Marketing Manager to take the taproom experience to potential guests through the company’s mobile happy hour initiative.
    • Coordinate design and printing needs for hospitality team.
    • Partner with events manager and creative team to develop private events selling tools.
    • Ensure merchandising plan is implemented and presented as prescribed for the guests.

    Position Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2-3 years or more of experience in marketing, hospitality, sales or promotion related fields.
    • Experience with digital marketing and CRM tools
    • Expert in social media
    • Beer/Adult Beverage experience is not a requirement
