BREWER WANTED
Do you have a passion for craft beer? Do you want to expand your knowledge and skills as a brewer?
Our small production brewery is looking for a set of hands to help us make award winning beers.
We are looking for a Brewer with a year or two of prior experience in a production facility. Tasks will include washing kegs, packaging, cellar work, handling raw materials, and brewing. The candidate will need to have the ability to multi-task while keeping a productive cadence and facilitating a safe work environment.
Candidate should possess:
Knowledge of beer styles and the brewing processes, a positive attitude, a desire for continual education, and the ability to stand for long periods of time. Some experience on a stand-up forklift is a bonus.
Can maneuver up to 165 lbs
Work in a space that is frequently cold, hot, humid, and wet
Required Position Qualifications:
Valid drivers’ license with reliable transportation, solid communication skills, strong critical thinking with an eye for maximizing operations efficiency, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year or more of wort production and cellar experience
Preferred:
Brewery relevant degree in the sciences, manufacturing, and/or engineering, prior forklift experience, and prior experience with canning
Pay will be commiserate with experience. Yes you will get free beer!
