POCOCK BREWING COMPANY- Sales Rep. - Los Angeles Area
Pocock Brewing Company has an open position for a self-motivated ambitious individual, who is ready to take the market by storm. This sales position will cover Los Angeles County and Eastern Ventura County. Qualified candidates will be goal-oriented, outgoing, and passionate about craft beer. The successful candidate will represent Pocock Brewing Co. in the marketplace and will quickly become a face of the brand. Relationships with and knowledge of the LA County marketplace is imperative to success.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Market Development
- Achieve specified account and sales goals
- Develop new accounts and maintain relationships with current accounts
- Communicate with accounts regarding pricing, inventory events and brand awareness
- Foster working relationships with key decision makers in the marketplace
- Communicate and educate servers and staff at accounts
- Schedule and perform evening marketing events with retail accounts
- Stay in constant communication with home base and sales manager
Requirements and/or experience:
- Must reside in Los Angeles County
- 2+ years beer sales experience
- 21 years of age or older
- Strong knowledge and experience in L.A. County marketplace
- Highly motivated, ambitious and sociable personality
- Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Work flexible hours/days, including evening and weekend events
- Ability to lift/move beer kegs and cased beer up to 165lbs
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to climb, kneel and stoop
Salary/commission will be commensurate with experience.
