612Brew is seeking an experienced cellar person for immediate hire.
Position: Cellar person/Packaging Operator
Reports to: Head Brewer
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- 2+ years’ experience in a packaging brewery.
- Experience with centrifuge operation. We run a GEA HB-05 centrifuge system
- Experience with canning line operation. We run a Wild Goose Two Head system
- Experience with keg filling/cleaning. We run an IDD washer/filler system
- Brewing education preferred but not required
- Experience operating a forklift. Certification preferred but not required
- Boiler operator certification preferred but not required
Regular Functions:
- CIP/Sanitation of fermentation vessels and brite beer tanks
- Centrifuge operation
- Canning line operation
- Keg washer/filler operation
- Maintaining clean and sanitary work environment
- Communication with Head Brewer, Ownership, and Distributor to ship and receive finished product and packaging material to and from the warehouse
- Maintain inventory levels of packaging materials (kegs, cans, etc.)
- Other tasks as directed by Head Brewer (occasional dry-hopping, mill room cleaning, etc.)
- Represent 612Brew at festivals and events
Brewery Specs:
- 15 bbl., dual vessel, steam jacketed, manual brewhouse
- 6x 30 bbl. FV’s and 2x 30bbl. BBT’s
- GEA centrifuge
- Two head Wild Goose canning line
- IDD keg washer/filler

Who We Are: 612Brew is located in the Arts District of Northeast Minneapolis. We offer four year-round, four seasonal, and four limited time beers as well as tons of taproom exclusive stuff with an annual production of roughly 2,000 bbl. We pride ourselves on producing a wide variety of classics as well as more experimental beers. We’re a very small team (you’d make up half of the production crew, so, seriously tight knit) and we work closely with ownership, suppliers, FOH staff, distributors, and brand ambassadors.
