White Street Brewing Company, a production brewery established in 2012 with statewide NC distribution, is seeking a highly committed, motivated and passionate brewer to join our team. This Brewer will brew on both our 10 bbl pilot system at the taproom in Wake Forest, NC as well as on our automated 30 bbl system at the production facility in Youngsville, NC. This position is full-time with regular shift work, including possible nights and weekends. The ideal candidate is capable of handling Head Brewer responsibilities immediately. A qualified candidate can work towards the Head Brewer position.

Three of our Four Main Street Series beers have won national and international awards including a World Beer Cup Gold for our Kolsch. The candidate we seek thrives on commitment to quality, is always looking to improve themselves, and takes pride in exceeding expectations.

Required Credentials:

  • Has at least 1 year of commercial production brewery experience
  • Is committed to quality
  • Displays meticulous attention to detail
  • Understands the basic science of brewing
  • Is comfortable following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Functions well in a team environment
  • Has strong process awareness
  • Possesses mechanical aptitude with brewing equipment
  • Is passionate about brewing and interested in learning

Preferred Credentials:

  • Has at least 3+ years of commercial production brewery experience
  • Is comfortable with Recipe Development
  • Has experience with production forecasting and scheduling
  • Has experience with raw ingredient ordering
  • Can lead others
