Unseen Creatures Brewing & Blending, named one of Hop Culture Magazine’s 15 Best Breweries to Watch in 2019, is looking for a brewer to join our team. Unseen Creatures is a 5,300 sq. ft. brewery focusing on, but not limited to, barrel fermented and aged mixed-culture ales and hop-forward beers. Wort production on a 7bbl direct fire brewhouse. We are an all hands on deck operation. Members participate in wort production, keg washing, packaging, CIP, brewery cleaning, etc.
Description:
1. Hours: Full time position – minimum 40 hours a week.
2. Reports to: Founder/Brewer. Will work with founder to brew and improve core offerings, develop portfolio, and run day to day production/operations.
3. Pay: Negotiable (dependent on experience).
Requirements:
4. Experience with clean and wild fermentation – preferably within same brewhouse space.
5. Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
6. Ability to lift 60+ pounds several times during a work day.
7. Ability to take direction well.
8. Operate within and assist in the development of SOP including the maintenance of a clean and wild program within the same area.
9. Duties & Responsibilities:
a. Wort production for wild and clean program beers.
b. Maintaining production schedule and fermentation management.
c. Detailed record keeping in all stages of production.
d. CIP.
e. Yeast and bacterial management.
f. Maintenance of tap lines in brewery tasting room.

2. Positive attitude and team worker who can excel working independently, as well.
3. Creative and open-minded.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Strong time management skills.
6. Ability to identify off-flavors and take corrective actions.
