Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. is currently seeking a Brewing Operator. Alltech made a splash in the beverage industry with the introduction of Kentucky Ale® in 2000. Today Alltech’s Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. is the producer of award-winning beer and spirits and has grown to become one of the few joint brewing and distilling operations in the world. We have an excellent opportunity for a Brewing Operator at our Lexington, KY facility.
Responsibilities:
Operation of brewhouse/work production
Fermentation monitoring
Manual cleaning
Basic brewery equipment maintenance
Raw material and finished product handling; Forklift operation
Our ideal candidate:
Must be 21 years of age
1 Year Experience in a production brewing environment
Must Have attention to detail and be Quality-minded
Flexibility in schedule to work days, nights and weekends as needed
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Good communication skills
Physical Requirement/Working Conditions:
Lifting up to 55 pounds to shoulder height repetitively
Working in often hot/wet/cold/humid conditions
