Interested in brewing and have kitchen experience or vice versa?
Sweeten Creek Brewing is looking for a professional individual with good attitude and strong work ethic to help out part time as an entry level packaging/cellarperson in the brewery and part time in our deli style kitchen. Interest in craft beer is a must and line cook experience is preferred but not required. The right individual will be able and willing to work efficiently in multiple departments, have strong communication skills, and have a can do attitude with a desire and willingness to learn. Pay will be based on experience.
The right candidate will have:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 55 lbs., and do physically-demanding work
• Willingness to work on and around potentially dangerous equipment/machinery
• Willingness to work with strong cleaning agents and in an environment with high noise levels
• Willingness to work events and weekends
• Minimum of high-school diploma
• Strong Mechanical and Maintenance background is a plus.
Packaging/Cellerperson duties will include:
• Assisting Brewer in Brewing process
• Cleaning and filling of kegs
• Assisting in canning process
• General cleaning duties
• Other duties as assigned by brewers
Kitchen duties will include:
• Daily prep
• Timely assembly of sandwiches
• Cleaning dishes
• Closing duties including cleaning, sweeping, moping, ect.
