    JOB SUMMARY
    Beertenders facilitate visitor enjoyment by performing a variety of customer service duties, including, but not limited to, greeting and serving customers, providing education about our brews and styles of beer, merchandise and food offerings. In addition to stocking the tap room, they are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the tap room facility.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Provide excellent customer service by immediately greeting and serving our guests in a positive and friendly manner. Maintain the level of service through-out their time in the tap room, promptly clearing tables and asking if there is anything else you can bring them.
    • Be a brand ambassador for Iron Fist by interacting with guests to develop and maintain a positive publice image. Answer questions and educate about our beers, beer styles and our history.
    • Educate customers on sampling beer (i.e. clarity, carbonation, mouth feel, etc)
    • Promote the awareness and availability of other products that we sell: merchandise, growlers, stickers, food items, etc.
    • Promote upcoming events, parties, limited releases, and any sales/discounted products
    • Complete all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations as requested and assigned by your supervisor.
    • Ensure the Tap Room, restrooms, bar, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving and storage areas are clean and comply exceed sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
    • Report any maintenance issues or substandard practices to your supervisor immediately.
    • Attend events and functions as required by your supervisor.
    • Handles customer complaints in an efficient and friendly manner. Request the assistance of your supervisor if needed.
    • Assist with inventor processes as requested by your supervisor
    • Ensure that draft system is functioning properly, minimizing any waste.
    • Promptly enter all sales into the POS system properly. Collect payment immediately for all sales.
    • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests.
    • Remain current on policies and procedures and current developments in local, state and federal laws applicable to the service of alcohol, safe food handling and health standards.
    ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Leads Certification
    • Passion for Craft Beer
    • A minimum of one year in bar service or service industry.
    • Basic knowledge of beer offerings and ability to learn specifics about Iron Fist beers offerings

    • Ability to lift up to 65 Pounds
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Computer skills • Ability to respond to rapidly changing and conflicting priorities.
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment with a great attitude
    • Independent, proactive, extremely detail oriented, dependable, organized and ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Must be results focused and oriented toward accomplishment of team goals.
    • Positive attitude with goal to be the best at any task..

    Physical Demands
    • Regularly involves standing, talking or listening, and the use of hands and fingers.
    • Regularly involves standing, walking talking for extended periods of time.

    • Frequently involves crouching, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing or balancing.
    Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to lift and carry items.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
    • Involves physical activity performing daily activities.
    • Should be able to identify and distinguish colors, see clearly at 20 inches or closer and 20 feet or more, observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, judge distances and spatial relationships, and adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.


    TYPICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
    • May be exposed to moderate to high noise levels (i.e. production equipment, forklifts, heavy traffic, tasting room music).
    • May be exposed to humidity, intense heat and cold, outdoor weather conditions.
    • May work in areas with mechanical moving parts, above ground with risk of fall, or areas with risk of electrical shock.
    • May be exposed to ingredients that may cause allergic reactions and may be exposed to various allergen ingredients.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
    • May require some regional travel for events.
