  • Removing silk screening from used kegs

    Greetings all.
We are considering buying several hundred used kegs from a brewery that is going under. The kegs are silk screened but not embossed.
I was wondering if anyone knows any tricks for removing the printed logo before we apply our keg tape.
A chemical method would be preferred rather than sanding or some other manual method that might damage the stainless.
    Thanks!

I sanded mine off and you cant even tell where the graphic was or where it was sanded. Use a fine grit paper, you can't damage the stainless. Remember that the elements react with oxygen and water to form an oxide layer.
