Boom Island Brewing Company is a Belgian inspired Brewery and Tap Room founded in 2011 in Minneapolis, MN. Boom Island brews a mind-boggling, palate-expanding array of Old and New World style beers using traditional Belgian methods. Inspired by one of the world’s richest beer cultures, we’re always exploring new styles, flavors and techniques. We are a self-distributing brewery with a tap room that is seeking a Salesperson for our wholesale customers to assist with our expansion plans that include developing new styles, adding canned beer and relocating to a new production facility and tap room. This brewery is located in Minneapolis but will be moving to a western suburb this summer.
Specific job duties:
Exceed annual sales and account development goals
Promote Boom Island beers to liquor stores, bars and restaurants in your assigned region.
Develop sales strategies.
Build relationships with key decision makers
Serve as brand ambassador at tastings and events
Provide feedback to the management team for improving our success in the craft beer market
Position requirements and qualifications:
College degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and appreciation of craft beers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Over 21 years of age
Must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license
