Warehouse Coordinator
Upslope Brewing Company is looking to add an organized, detail-oriented self starter to our Warehouse & Packaging Team!
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all tasks associated with equipment operation and supporting the brewery’s Packaging and Warehouse Teams. Accuracy, efficiency, safety and teamwork are the key factors in this position. You will be responsible for forklift operation, orchestrating the shipping/receiving functions and finished goods department. This position is also cross-trained to assist the Packaging Team as needed. The Warehouse Coordinator reports to the Lead Warehouse Coordinator and shares the same goals of streamlining all warehouse activities and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Coordinator Rotates between working as a forklift operator in the dry goods warehouse and the finished goods warehouse/shipping area as designated by the Lead Warehouse Coordinator. The functions found below are dependent on the area designated.
Shipping & receiving of products (loading and unloading trucks)
Accurate completion of proper documentation concerning shipping/receiving
Maximizing space in order to store product efficiently in both warehouses
Construct, wrap and label pallets of product with precision
Correctly loads trucks to include stability and accuracy
Proper use of First In First Out (FIFO) when applicable as in SOPs and rotation of product to ensure quality
Maintaining supply and organization of warehouse materials using the 5S system
Ensure dry-goods warehouse and cold room are kept clean and organized
Help with various other tasks/projects when required (deep cleaning, maintenance, pickups and deliveries, etc.)
Seeks ways to improve the efficiency of warehouse processes and organization
Tracks and records inventory of finished and partial pallets from packaging runs, and performs audits as necessary
Ensures all positions on canning line have adequate and appropriate supplies (replenish no-packers box supply, replenish 12-pack box supply near gluer, etc)
Provides stock to tap room as needed
Assists Packaging Department As Needed
Completes cross-training in order to fill in on canning line and keg filler when necessary and/or time allows
Assists canning and kegging crews in ensuring packaging area is kept clean and organized before, during and after runs
Equipment Operation
Safely operates forklifts, electric pallet jacks, non-electric pallet jacks and any other machinery used
Performs routine, preventative maintenance on forklifts
Fills in on canning line and keg filler when necessary and or time allows
Sets up materials for runs, transfer of finished product from Packaging to Warehouse
Participates in safety trainings and abides by safety policies

Must be 21+
Clean driving record (no DUI, DWAI)
Physically capable of performing all essential functions of the job
Schedule flexibility is required
Ability to work overtime as required by production demands
