Assistant Brewer / Brewer Position
Harbor Head Brewing Company in Northport, NY is looking to add to the brewing team. We are looking for a Part Time Assistant Brewer to help with all aspects of beer production and sales. The Assistant Brewer / Brewer will work directly with the Head Brewer. There is a high likelihood of the right candidate quickly acceding to a full time position.
Requirements:
-At least 21 years of age
-Strong passion for craft beer
-Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
-Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lb independently and team lift up to 160 lb
-Able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Duties:
-Assist Head Brewer in wort production
-Conduct routine cellar tasks such as transferring beer and packaging
-Clean Kegs and Tanks and lots of other things
-Deliver beer to local accounts
-Help in tap room and at events as needed
Experience preferred but not required. Pay commensurate with experience and education.
