Job title: Packaging Lead
Hours: Full time (38+ hours/week)
Sunriver Brewing Company is seeking a detail-oriented team leader with a passion for the highest quality craft beer. We desire someone who can maintain a safe and productive work environment and lead daily packaging and warehouse operations. This position requires mechanical inclination as well as the ability to trouble shoot and problem solve. The ideal candidate will be looking for long term employment and growth opportunities within our company.
Primary responsibilities include –
• Maintain packaging schedule based on the needs of production and sales
• Operation and maintenance of canning equipment - Wild Goose 250 and Ska depalletizer
• Operation and maintenance of kegging equipment – IDD Squire Plus 2
• Purchasing and inventory management of all packaging materials
• Supervision and training of secondary canning line operators and packaging staff
• Manage packaging cellars, dry storage, product coolers and exterior loading dock
• Work with Head Brewer to create and implement SOPs
• Work with Head Brewer to train new brewery employees and provide staff education
• Manage cooperage and dunnage inventory
• Manage outbound distribution orders and freight
• Manage inbound raw materials and freight
Qualifications and requirements –
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for operation of a company vehicle
• A minimum of two years’ work experience in a high-volume brewpub or production brewery
• Formal education from a recognized brewing school preferred
• Experience with bottle conditioning preferred
• Forklift certified or previous forklift certification
• Flexible with work schedule (AM/PM, weekends and extended hours as needed)
• Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly as well as maneuver filled kegs (150 pounds)
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work on a ladder at heights 10’ above floor level
• Ability to work in noisy, hot, cold and wet environments
• Ability to work safely, and without allergic reaction, to brewery sanitation chemicals

Operations are based in the resort community of Sunriver, Oregon, with a high-volume pub in the Sunriver Village as well as a 13,000 square foot production brewery in the Sunriver Business Park.
