Solace Brewing in Sterling/Dulles, VA is hiring an experienced brewer to operate their canning line. Previous experience of working on a packaging line is required; preferably experience working with a Wild Goose canning line. Duties and Responsibilities
• Early morning shifts
• Start-up and shut-down of canning line
• Supervising the packaging operations
• Troubleshooting and maintenance work
• Organizing the brewery and cold storage
• Performing tests in the quality control lab
• Opening and closing the production facility
• Other brewing responsibilities on non-packaging days
Qualifications
• HS education/diploma. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience operating a canning line, preferably a Wild Goose
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. and maneuver full kegs of beer (up to 160 lbs.)
• At least 21 years of age
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
• A good understanding of quality control measures in packaging
