Red Leg Brewing Company, a Veteran Owned brewery in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Sales Manager with a passion and commitment to help an ambitious brewery continue to grow and thrive. Responsibilities of the Position Include:
• Cultivate and strengthen the critical relationship between Red Leg Brewing Company and our distributor and retail partners.
• Spend about 80% of time in the marketplace with a focus on relationships.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with key on and off-premise accounts
• Achieve planned sales and distribution goals
• Track and monitor progress in accounts. Communicate this progress to management and sales team members.
• Organize and represent Red Leg Brewing Company at beer festivals and events
• Represent Red Leg Brewing Company with professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm
• Plan, organize and implement events at on and off-premise accounts with focus on fostering supportive relationships with accounts.
• Conduct frequent off-premise tastings to support accounts and interact directly with consumers
• Provide management with weekly report to recap previous week and summarize plans for the upcoming week.
• Ensure alignment of pricing strategy throughout territories.
• Monitor shipments and inventory
• Conduct wait staff/ bartender educational events
• Ensure proper merchandising of point of sale and display materials in the on and off premise
• Create and maintain profiles for all accounts
• Work with distributor and sales/marketing team to promote sales, brand awareness and consumption
• Execute all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner
• Host retailers and distributors at the brewery
• Participate in distributor work-withs and ride-alongs

Qualifications of the Position Include:
• Strong appreciation and understanding of craft beer and craft beer drinkers. This includes a willingness to research to make sure that knowledge remains relevant to the current craft beer environment.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in beer/wine/liquor sales preferred
• Candidate must reside within the territory
• Clean Driving record
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work within a team
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving sales goals
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak in front of large groups
• Work Monday through Friday plus weekends and evenings as required
• Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
