Additional Information about the Brewery and the Surrounding Area

The brewery’s focus is on a truly welcoming feel and atmosphere with weekly local music and food trucks or caterer’s proving and serving up great tasting food to work with our beer styles offered. It’s intended to be hyper local and serve the townsfolk first, being a spot to come in and meet your neighbor to chat about town gossip or the next school budget. Far away from parking lots of shopping centers and industrial parks so you can relax and enjoy the sunsets, quiet evenings, look up at the stars, and sit in the grass while drinking a fresh beer.

Brewery production schedule will not consist of weekends or late evening brewing, if you are a family oriented person you can have a flexible work schedule to start as early as you need if you want to be home to meet your kids when they return from school, or if you want to come in late enough to get them to school or onto the bus. You are encouraged to attend local and out of state festivals or events where meeting customers or homebrewers to help educate and inform them of process, history, or brewing knowledge. Collaboration brewing with other breweries is something that will be sought after, and you will be encouraged to utilize contacts to cultivate these opportunities. In addition, collaboration with local food vendors and businesses will also be encouraged.

Our offerings will include weekly rotating beer ranging from Cask Ales served from a Beer Engine, or Classic Czech Lagers from a Side pull draught handle to nitrogenated Irish Dry stouts along with wine and whiskey barrel aged beers to fruited sours and funky wild coolship beers, big Belgian beers and the ever heavily sought-after New England IPA.

Vermont in general has a lot to offer. Beginning with the obvious changing of seasons come opportunities to enjoy the many lakes, rivers and bodies of water available. Go kayaking down a river or biking on trails, play disc golf, or kickball. Hikes up the beautiful and picturesque Mount Mansfield are within a short drive. In the winter there is a ski resort within a short drive of the brewery and several other resorts that you can get to in under an hour.

If you like to stay in a busier area where there is much going on than the big city of Burlington is a hub of activity and nightlife than can provide interest to anyone seeking entertainment. From Museum’s (Echo), Music Venues (Higher Ground), Theater (Flynn Theater), Night Clubs (Nectar’s), Restaurants and Breweries (6 just in Burlington), Beaches’ (North Beach), and a bike path that runs the length of Burlington.

Looking more locally around the brewery you can take your family to places like Indian Brook for swimming, or fishing in the Browns River. The rural nature lends itself to a lot of quiet evenings in a small town with a strong local town participation. An annual Broomball tournament that benefits the rec department, to unique musical shows inside a beautifully aesthetic church and meeting hall, and a town wide east vs west annual football tournament. This is where neighbors invite you to hang out on their porch for a beer while you walk your dog or where you can have the room to plant your own garden and raise small farm animals on your own farmstead.
