In search of Lead Brewer in Minnesota

We are in search of a Lead Brewer, the roll of many hats. We're expanding so I'm looking for someone that I don't need to micro manage while we expand and get situated. I know beggars can't be choosers, but I would like someone with a bit of experience. We are pretty laid back here and like to work hard and play hard. Wanted: Lead Brewer
We’re a brew pub in the processes of expanding to a second location. We are looking for a brewer who has experience operating nano-scale brewing equipment (10-20 bbl) who is enthusiastic about the opportunity to be the lead brewer for a successful brew pub in the beautiful state of Minnesota.
Enthusiasm for locally-made craft beer is booming in Minnesota from the big cities to small towns. Our vision is to support this growing trend and help enhance life in our growing cities. After 3 years of successful operation in Historic Downtown Lakeville, we are expanding to another location in Inver Grove Heights. The brewery will have a selection of core and specialized beers for people to drink in unison with our great food. We will offer draught beer, full cocktail selection, hard cider, wine, but the focus is on the beer made in house. Our aim is to bring the exciting experience of fresh, local craft beer within reach of the thirsty, beer savvy population of our cities. Above all, we will emphasize a quality product with top-notch beer, and the business we build around it will serve to elevate and support that product.
The current brewery is located in Lakeville, MN, a fast-growing suburb of the Twin Cities. Lakeville boasts a large and rapidly increasing population including a strong and growing number of craft beer drinkers and enthusiasts. With the success of the Lakeville location, we are in the process of building a similar concept in Inver Grove Heights. The brewery in Lakeville is 10 bbl and the new brewery in Inver Grove will be a 20 bbl system both steam fired.
Timing for this position is approximately 6-9 months with brewing operations likely beginning in Q3 2019.
The person selected for this position will assist the head brewer in operations at Lakeville, and potentially Inver Grove Heights. We offer a competitive salary with benefits. Best of all this is an opportunity to work for a collaborative and innovative brewery in two cities with a lot of potential for growth in craft brewing. Good candidates will share our desire to create new craft beer enthusiasts and promote the revitalization of downtown Lakeville and Inver Grove Heights by partnering with area organizations, other local businesses, city leaders and the neighborhood.
Desired qualifications:
• Commercial brewing experience w/ minimum of 100 bbl volume
• Educational credentials from an accredited brewing school or a strong, positive reference from a previous brewing supervisor
• Ability to work in a team setting and running solo
• Ability to develop and refine recipes to meet desired taste and quality specifications
• Experience with brewery cleaning and sanitation
• Experience ordering materials and supplies and managing vendors and contracts
• Ability to manage yeast and yeast propagation
• Ability to identify and correct beer production and quality problems
• Equipment maintenance knowledge and experience including brewing process equipment, cleaning equipment, kegging equipment, storage and tap system equipment
• Ability to properly use brewery management software
• Ability to interact with customers and build customer loyalty
