    MARKETING MANAGER
    Ratio Beerworks is an emerging brewery in the heart of Denver’s River North Art District and we are seeking a Marketing Manager to help grow our brand as we begin cannning and entering new markets. Ratio is rooted in counter-culture, DIY, music, and the arts, and we make this connection to communities through our beer. Join us to shape that message!

    Ratio is currently planning a significant expansion with the addition of a new production facility, which will allow us to make the leap in packaged beer and expand into new markets throughout Colorado.     Ratio Beerworks opened in 2015 with deep roots in music, art, and culture. Founders Jason zumBrunnen and Scott Kaplan met through the punk scene during their time at CU-Boulder almost 20 years before zumBrunnen added an international diploma in brewing to his chemical engineering degree. Ratio has always seen high-quality beer as a minimum basic requirement in addition to fostering a unique and creative brand. Additionally, the perfect candidate will embody many of Ratio’s Core Values such as positivity, excellence, teamwork, and having a growth mindset.

    The Marketing Manager will work with our Marketing Team while also supporting our Sales Team. This position will achieve all marketing goals, help manage the Events Team, and formulate and focus on strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

    Strategy

    -Develop and implement an overarching marketing strategy based upon a strong understanding of the market, target demographics, our brands, and our business strategy to facilitate growth
    -Develop marketing initiatives that enhance the brand and drive consumer engagement
    -Bring creative insights, ideas, and strategies forward while working day-to-day to effectively manage plans, processes, and people for successful and timely execution

    Strategic Partnerships, Community Outreach, and Events

    -As an involved member of the community, we partner with various organizations and nonprofits that are like-minded and help express our Core Values including local music promoters, MCA, Denver Film Society, Youth on Record, and many many more
    -Partner with nonprofits and community organizations through beer donations and the coordination of our beer donation program
    -Support strategic partner initiatives and help cultivate further partnerships
    -Oversee and manage the Events Team to produce internal, external, partner/account events, and proprietary events

    Sales Team Interface

    -Act as a partner to our Sales Team to understand and achieve growth goals
    -Help develop strategy and direction for our packaged goods launch
    -Provide strategic insight and support to drive marketing campaigns for both on-premise and off premise sales
    -Oversee the direction of marketing assets to support our Sales Team in the field including signage, event display, and POS promotional materials

    Messaging and Digital Strategy

    -Oversee paid advertising campaigns and opportunities and assist in digital marketing strategy
    -Work with the marketing team to support content to grow and nurture the Ratio brand within our online community
    -Oversee the development and execution of marketing communications including branding, campaigns, public relations, advertising, trade shows, events and online presence
    -Develop and execute social media strategy and content calendar that supports customer initiatives while increasing brand equity and online awareness

    Marketing Team Leader

    -Recruit and manage a dynamic team that is responsible for all marketing functions including digital and social media, print media, graphic design, sales team support, event logistics, sponsorships, and community outreach
    -Maintain a positive team environment, motivate, and develop each team member individually and the group as a whole


    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
    A strategic thinker who can quickly assess a situation, opportunity or challenge, create a plan and help execute by digging in with the rest of the team to do the work:
    BS/MS degree in marketing or related field
    Minimum 5 years of development and hands-on implementation of high-level marketing strategies
    Beverage/Alcohol industry experience or within a similar CPG environment.
    Exhibit flexibility, creativity and resourcefulness with sound business acumen to create a positive, collaborative culture within the team, the brewery and our markets
    Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities at one time, to deliver results on time and within budget
    Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    Brand Strategy and Portfolio Management
    Public/media/social media relations experience optional
    Agency Management Experience preferred
