    We are looking for a head brewer for our brewery in Charlotte, NC. The brewery will service the taproom, beer garden, and canning line. We are looking for a creative & positive brewer that enjoys the collaborative effort that comes with being in this industry. You will work closely with the brewery management team. We are currently under construction and will be hiring very soon. This is a dream job for the right brewer.


    Overview:
    Responsible for the entire brewing and quality control processes.
    Scheduling, brewing and cellaring operations.
    Responsible for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
    Fully utilize brewhouse management software on a daily basis.
    Able and willing to train assistant brewers.
    Ensure a clean, sanitary, and organized space throughout the brewhouse, lab, and office.
    Expected to be a team brand ambassador for the brewery and at events and functions.


    You:
    A flexible and holistic attitude to beer production with a willingness to take ownership.
    Desire for continuous improvement in themselves, others, and the craft.
    At least three years of brewing experience is highly preferred.
    Proven recipe design experience and eager to experiment and try new things. We will want to try your beer
    Good understanding of quality assurance and yeast management.
    Possess excellent problem solving skills and able to troubleshoot any beer related issues.
    Experience with canning and packaging equipment.
    Strong computer literacy (email, google productivity suite, excel, word).
    Ability to communicate effectively with a positive attitude.
    Certificate in Brewing or Fermentation Sciences or work equivalent experience will be considered.


    Physical:
    Capable of standing for long periods of time and to perform physically demanding work.
    Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The ability to raise your arms over your head and twist around.
    Capable of safe and competent work on and around potentially hazardous machinery, equipment, chemicals and systems
    Able to work in an environment with high noise level.
    The successful candidate will require a valid driverÂ’s license and an excellent driving record.
