    We have a very special opportunity to join LIC Beer Project in a senior leadership role as Director of Brewing Operations

    SUMMARY:

    The Director of Brewing Operations will work closely with our Founder and brewing staff to help take us to the next level. The ideal candidate will have strong personal leadership skills, communicate effectively, and go above and beyond the duties assigned, while contributing to a positive work environment.

    WORK EXPERENCE:

    Minimum of 5 years experience in a production brewery of 10,000 bbls or more production per year.

    3 years in a management or supervisory position

    BA/BS in related field. Brewing Science education preferred.

    Experience with ERP software such as EKOS or Orchestrated Beer.

    Mechanical hands on experience is a must. Experience using centrifuge, steam boiler, brewing and packaging systems.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Leads all day-to-day brewing and packaging activities necessary to produce high quality, beer.
    • Oversees all aspects of the production schedule, from creation to implementation.
    • Facilitates future growth of the brewery through continuous optimization of current processes.
    • Entering and maintaining daily production records.
    • Procurement of all raw materials.
    • Ensure brewing schedule meet the needs of our distributors, taproom, and festival needs. Works closely with Sales Manager.
    • Ensure compliance with all Alcohol and Tobacco, Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) standards and required documentation. Complete TTB Report of Operations Monthly.
    • Develop reports on brewing execution, quality and exceptions. Put systems in place to improve current processes.
    • Assist as needed with production including brewing, cellaring, packaging, and general brewery tasks.
