Stoup Brewing is looking to add a Shift Brewer/Cellar Person to our brewery team. This is a full time position. The ideal candidate will have experience in wort production, packaging, and barrel work and will be enthusiastic about working with the Stoup team. Please email resume to info@stoupbrewing.com.
Minimum Requirements:
-2+ years experience working as a brewer in a production brewery
-Clean driving record-No Exceptions
-Minimum 21 years old
-Strong independent work ethic, yet able to work well in a team setting
-Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
-Availability to work a varied schedule, potentially involving long days, evenings, and weekends
-Basic computer skills and ability to complete forms and write instructions
-Strong organizational skills
-Strong time management skills
-Ability to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly
-Ability to crouch, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
-Ability to be friendly, informative and professional while representing Stoup at outside events and in the brewery

-Compensation varies depending on experience.

Responsibilities-including, but not limited to:
-Wort Production on a 15 bbl system
-Cellar Work including:
-Keg washing and filling
-General cleaning of brewery and tap room
-Maintain organization of cold room
-Precise data recording
-Dry hopping, filtering and transferring of beer.
-Fermentation and bright tank CIP
-Fermentation monitoring
-Yeast harvesting and strain maintenance
-Carbonation of final product
-Laboratory experience a plus
-Occasional offsite event participation
-Barrel work in our barrel program
