Hi All,
It was recommended us to use corrosion inhibitor in our glycol system by chiller supplier but those inhibitors are not non-toxic as i checked with several chemical suppliers. I know that glycol water is not in touch with beer anywhere directly but would it be problem to use something non-food grade in the system no matter what? Do you recommend to use corrosion inhibitor as well? If so, how much volume of it should be used? In our cooling system (chiller tank+GWT+pipes+glycol jackets) there will be approximately 2000-2500L glycol mixed water in total.
Thank you
