Hi All,
We are two entrepreneurs who are launching a 10bbl taproom in Minneapolis, MN. We are looking for an experienced Head Brewer who wants the opportunity to be a third pillar in our organization while building ownership. We have lots of ideas and homebrewing experience but recognize the need for a partner with experience brewing at scale. We are seeking someone who will bring their own ideas to the table while helping us execute ours. We want to brew rotational/experimental styles, continuously brewing new recipes to generate a following and keep a fresh lineup. Our ideal candidate understands the scientific aspects of brewing and also brings their passion and creativity. Position will be salaried with some ownership in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Brewer is responsible for all processes and procedures surrounding the brewing process, including cellar work, yeast management, spent grain handling, quality control, and (future) packaging
Forecast and execute on beer availability and brewing schedule
Create and adhere to standard operating procedures
Assist with equipment selection and layout of brewery
Log and record all pertinent information, using a scientific approach

Minimum 2 years brewing experience
Experience in production facility preferred
Barrel management skills required
Formal brewing education or equivalent experience
Technical knowledge and maintenance skills of all brewhouse equipment
