  • Taproom Manager - New Mexico!

    Send resume/CV to joel@exnovobrew.com

Ex Novo is opening in Corrales and looking for a dynamic taproom manager to help grow and lead the team!

We’ve been brewing in Portland, OR for four and a half years now and have had great success building a brewery from the ground up; all while staying true to our mission to raise funds for local and global charities. We look forward to our new roots in New Mexico!

Our new location in Corrales is Ex Novo’s first steps into the Southwest. We are opening a 20bbl production brewhouse and the taproom manager will be working and overseeing the onsite tasting/taproom. It will host 16 taps, packaged beer, and a variety of merchandise.

It’s critical that as a leader you share our service values. Being welcoming and friendly to every guest that visits, calls or engages with us. Have genuine human connections, help us build community, and take ownership over all guest experiences. Generosity is one of Ex Novo’s core values; a manager will be generous by taking the time to grow relationships and a successful team, by exercising the “generous assumption” in giving the benefit of the doubt in stressful situations, and actively sharing enthusiasm, encouragement, and the workload. We require a sense of urgency and an eye for detail, anticipating customer’s needs, and adaptability. Everyone pitches in to get the work done and keep up our service environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to -

Assist in training and education of the staff. Take the lead once values alignment has been demonstrated.
Conduct regular product inventory and place orders for pub supplies and merchandise.
Cultivate and grow the guest experience.

Serving/bartending experience is required; minimum one year in a leadership position. Multi year leadership experience is a plus. Experiencing opening a taproom a plus!

Must be able to lift 50lbs and move 160lb kegs.
Be certified to serve alcohol in the state of New Mexico
