Foxtown Brewing is hiring a full time assistant brewer. We are a startup brewery based in Mequon WI, located in a restored 1857 brewery / taproom complete with 2 levels of lager caves. We also have an additional production facility in Germantown WI (both about 30 mins north of Milwaukee) with a multi-faceted and expandable brew system, including a dedicated 1bbl experimental and R&D system. We are focused on creating high quality ales and lagers. We offer highly competitive compensation and benefits.
Prerequisites:
• A minimum 2 years of professional brewing experience
• Knowledge of brewery operations
• A detailed understanding of beer styles and how they are made
• Knowledge of brewery safety
• Critical thinking and problem solving on the fly
• Diligence and hard work in completing tasks while unsupervised
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Self-motivated with a good attitude
• Must be a team player
• Flexibility with work hours
• Able to lift 55# bags and move full kegs
• Forklift experience
• Valid US driver license
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
Preferred
• Packaging experience (Cans/Kegs)
• Maintenance experience
• Barrel aging experience
