Brand Ambassador & Operations Assistant - Part Time

Position Description:
The Brand Ambassador will work as a representative and advocate for Ex Novo’s brand by heightening the public’s exposure and knowledge of the company’s ethos, history, products, and mission. The Brand Ambassador supports the Sales Manager primarily through participation in product demos, tap takeovers, festivals, and other events as assigned. The Brand Ambassador will also assist the Sales Manager by regularly responding to donation requests and organizing charitable givings that align with the company’s values.
The Operations Assistant side of the position entails more attention to detail and functional aptitudes via regular inventory of packaged beer stock, delivery of packaged beer, pickups of brewery related ingredients and materials, and other operational duties as assigned.
Basic Job Duties:
- Host tastings & product demos at accounts as scheduled by the Sales Manager
- Support the Sales Manager in company representation at events such as tap takeovers and brew festivals
-Assist the Sales Manager with scheduling donation requests and other charitable events that align with brand guidelines and company values.
- Regularly conduct ingredient and product inventory at Ex Novo’s brewery, storage facility, and pub(s)
- Assist in shuttling packaged beer and other products to/from Ex Novo’s brewery, storage facility, and pub(s)
Expectations / Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior experience in craft beer sales, distribution, or FOH service strongly preferred
- possess or obtain upon hire OLCC permit
- Clean driving record with access to reliable transportation on a regular basis
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- ability to lift up to 45lbs and regularly maneuver 160 lb kegs
- must comply with all workplace safety procedures and SOPs as directed by management
- Should demonstrate strong work ethic, self-starting attitude, and respectful team-first mindset
- Should have good public speaking, presentation, and professional communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and G Suite with regular access to email, phone, and Slack for timely communication
- should be able to demonstrate/communicate extensive knowledge of beer styles, craft brewing process, local/regional craft beer culture, Ex Novo’s products, company history, and release calendar.
