    About New Trail Brewing Co:
    New Trail Brewing Co is a new brewery opening its doors in January of 2018. New Trail is located in the beautiful mountainside of Williamsport Pennsylvania and boasts a 15 BBL Quality Tank Solutions brewhouse and cellar. New Trail seeks to maintain a production capacity at full capacity of less than 15,000 bbls a year and a current cellar capacity of 8,000 bbls. New Trail operates and maintains a Wild Goose canning line. We sit in a warehouse that will house a tasting room with additional patio capacity for the warm summer days. Located less than a mile from the Little League World Series stadium, New Trail seeks adventurous brewers looking to keep up with modern trends and make stellar beer! New Trail Brewing Co is the brainchild of Charles Imbro and David Hertwig, both veterans of the Bar & Restaurant Industry. New Trail’s Operations are managed by Mike LaRosa a veteran of the craft beer industry who has worked with some of the most notable breweries in the Mid-Atlantic region including Tired Hands and Kane.

    Job Description:
    The Brewer will be working with the New Trail’s Production Team to produce high quality beer. The main responsibilities of the Brewer are to aid in production of beer from grain to glass. The Brewer will be involved in SOP implementation of New Trail’s operations. The Brewer will report directly to the Director of Brewing Operations of New Trail and work in tandem with the ownership team to perpetuate a positive work culture. Other tasks involved in the position involve lifting, moving, pulling, pushing and tapping 35lb+ cases of bottles and cans, moving full kegs onto and off of pallets, driving a forklift, climbing ladders, working with chemicals, and working in a safety driven team environment. Members of the Production team should have a generally positive attitude and keeping an immaculately clean work space. Production Team members should expect between 35-55 hours of work per week. Full time employees are eligible for benefits including health insurance, and paid vacation following a probationary period.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Meeting with New Trail’s Ownership and Management team to develop and maintain acceptable level of inventories of all raw materials and finished goods
    Maintaining SOPs in all aspects of production
    Wort production on a 15 BBl QTS Brewhouse
    CIP and COP of fermentation vessels and brewhouse
    Yeast handling
    Transferring beer from fermentation to bright beer tanks
    Packaging in both Kegs and Cans
    Keg Cleaning
    Wort and beer transfers to and from oak vessels
    Assisting all Production Team members in all aspects of their role
    Participate in Team Meetings
    Adhere to all safety protocols set in place by New Trail Brewing Co

    Required Minimum Qualifications:
    Be at least 21 years of age
    High School Degree
    Two or more years brewing at any size craft brewery
    Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
    Able to lift 35lbs; able to move 55lbs using tools such as a hand truck or a forklift.
    Able to kneel and stoop occasionally.
    Able to stand and work for up to 12 hours at a time


    Desired Qualifications:
    One or more years brewing at a similarly sized brewery
    Forklift certifications and aptitude
