  • Cellar Dweller/Brewer

Immediate full time help needed at suburban brewpub outside of Philadelphia. We are currently a one person team operating on a 10bbl Specific Mechanical system, looking to expand to a two person team. We are on pace to produce 1000bbls our first year, but are in need of another set of hands to give us the ability to crank out 4-5 consistent turns a week. Almost every batch we do is a one off, so creativity and improvisation are super encouraged. Job duties will be varied at the start and will become more hotside heavy as time passes, but this will immediately be a full time salaried position with benefits.

    DUTIES
-Daily/weekly cellar routine (yeast drops, gravs, counting kegs, etc)
-Independently producing 10bbl batches of wort, sometimes 2 consecutive turns, and everything that comes with it
-Monthly/Quarterly maintenance (passivation, pump seals, valve seats)
-Occasional odd jobs/taking one for the team (delivering kegs, running an errand) *this is a rare occurrence
    -Cleaning/filling kegs
    -Liquid transfers
    -Assisting with canning
-Adhering to all SOPs and safety guidelines

    QUALIFICATIONS
-Prior production brewing experience, doesn't matter what scale, just preferably larger than home-brewing
    -Ability to multitask/improvise
-Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts and lift 50+ lbs.

    THE NUMBERS
    -Starting salary dependent upon experience
-40 hours a week, generally no need to work more than that
    -Health insurance available
-Ample room for raises and growth
