ZēLUS Beer Company is looking for a multi-talented person with a passion for beer and brewing to wear many hats in our start up beer company and taproom. We are looking for someone to help us build and establish our taproom brewing operations as well as grow our distribution through increasing our packaged beer production with our use of contract brewing facilities.
Major roles and responsibilities:
Contract Brewing Coordinator: Manage and coordinate large production batches with contract brewing facilities (30-60 bbl) for packaging. Liaise with contract facility for all aspects of manufacturing including procurement of ingredients, label production, recipe transfer, tracking manufacturing processes and testing of batches, in packaging, and delivery.
Manage brewing operations in taproom opening in Medfield, MA: Help set up and run brewing operations for a taproom with 2 bbl brewhouse. Responsibilities will include cleaning equipment, cleaning kegs, cleaning brewery, ordering and tracking ingredients, maintaining yeast, scheduling batches, maintaining equipment, quality control, and brewing.
Additional responsibilities will include participation at various events and festivals as needed, setting up and serving beer alongside other team members. We all pitch in here.
Qualifications:
Will need to be able to perform all tasks or identify resources to achieve goals with minimal supervision. Ideal candidate will be familiar with electric brewing systems and have professional brewing experience or extensive home brewing experience and knowledge base.
