Job Description: Packaging Line Operator
(512) Brewing Company is a production microbrewery located in south Austin. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about craft beer. The individual we are looking for needs to be a flexible team member, mechanically inclined, and detail oriented. This job will require various start times and a broad range of daily and weekly duties. This position will be full time after a probationary period. This is an entry level position, so experience is not required but it is a plus. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Packaging Responsibilities:
• Operate our external keg washer
• Operate our two head M+F keg filler
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment to store and load products
• Loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Daily and weekly cleaning to keep the brewery spotless
• Assist in inventory, logistics and product rotation
• Follow all SOPs, quality controls and safety standards of the organization
• Assist coworkers in other departments and taproom when requested
Maintenance, Sanitation and Safety:
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Report any equipment issues to management
• Always wear appropriate safety attire
• Operate under the health and safety standards set by the organization
Physical Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Physically move products, lifting up to 55lbs to the shoulder
• lift 140 lbs to the hip
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
• Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
Job requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be willing and able to pass a background check
• Must be 21+ to apply
• Compensation will be based on experience
