District 96 Beer Factory is a brewery located in New City, NY. We focus on producing high quality IPAs, lagers, and a variety of rotating styles. We were one of BeerAdvocates best new breweries of 2017, and also 2018 TAPNY Best Brewery in New York, along with Gold medals in both Pale Ale and Light Lager categories. We are adding additional fermentation space and a canning line and as we continue to grow, we are looking to hire another full-time brewery assistant. Professional brewing experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
-Washing and filling Kegs
-Operating canning line
-Brewhouse and cellar tank cleaning
-Organizing all brewery related supplies and products
-Keeping the brewery clean and organized
-Attending festivals and events when necessary
-Assisting in all brewing aspects from wort production to packaging
-Other tasks as necessary
Position Qualifications:
-Very strong work ethic, with high attention to detail
-Strong willingness to learn and grow
-Must be able to lift 55 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for full work days
-Professional brewing experience is preferred
-Formal brewing education is preferred
-Homebrewing experience is required
-21 years of age or older
