Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, Ca is looking to add a full-time cellar person to our team!

We have a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Rolec 125 bbl brew house. You will be trained to care for the fermenting beer - this includes how to use the centrifuge, how to dry hop using our hopinator, and how to perform SEVERAL cleaning procedures.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Centrifuging
CIP of fermenters and brite tanks using an automated system
Flavoring beers
Checking beer carbonation and gravity
General cleaning
Ensuring the final product is of utmost quality
Following production and safety SOP's

Applicants with 1+ years of experience, a formal brewing education, and/or centrifuge experience a BIG plus! Flexibility with scheduling is also highly desirable.

The brewery is filled with a variety of machinery and conditions can get both loud and wet, as well as vary in temperature. Candidates must be able to remain in a stationary position for long amounts of time, reposition body to work in different spaces, lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently (or more, with mechanical or physical help) and traverse/ascend/descend work spaces at varying heights.

Lost Coast is located on the beautiful Redwood Coast. We have mild temperatures all year round, so it is a great area for outdoor activities. The area has a rich history from a varied heritage, and in modern times can be described as a mix of “nature and culture with a small-town feel”.
