Heretic Brewing Company, an award winning craft beer brewery and distillery located in Fairfield California, is currently hiring. This is position where a person can start their career in the craft beer industry. We are looking for smart, highly motivated people with a professional demeanor and we are willing to train you for this career if you have the right aptitude and a willingness to learn.
We try to expose our employees to all of the aspects of brewery operation. As with all positions in the company, you will have the opportunity to prove yourself and move up in our fast growing company.
Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning fermentation and brite tanks
• Cellaring duties: dry hopping and carbonating
• Operating Alfa Laval centrifuge
• Cleaning and filling kegs with beer
Qualifications
• Home-brewing or Commercial brewery experience required
• 21 or older
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Adaptable and able to efficiently manage time and tasks
• A passion for and knowledge of craft beer
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Compensation based on experience
This position is full-time. We would prefer only applications from applicants residing within a 35 mile radius from our brewery. The working days are Sunday through Thursday.
Heretic is poised for great growth. We began brewing award-winning ales in 2011 and our rapid growth has allowed us to recently complete a large brewery expansion. Compensation is based on experience and your starting pay will reflect that.
