A cross between traditional brand ambassador and regional sales lead, you are expected to think strategically and creatively to achieve specific sales and brand goals The main responsibility is build brand engagement with trade and consumers in both on and off premise channels, while achieving revenue goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in related fields with a strong hospitality and/or sales background. 3+ years of experience within the alcohol industry and knowledge of the three-tier system is preferred but not required

Duties And Responsibilities
- Call on key on and off premise accounts independently and with distributors in market based on specific target lists
- Train off premise accounts on brands story and attributes
- Activate consumer promotions (where legal) in on premise accounts
- Drive consumer and trade events to generate brand awareness, engagement and trial
- Identify key market influencers, establish relationships and develop into an ambassador for the brand.
- Create engagement opportunities for consumers through on premise tastings, dry demos and events and promote engagement opportunities through word of mouth.
- Be the face of the brand and develop strong relationships with account and distributor teams in the region
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in related fields with a strong hospitality and/or sales background. 3+ years of experience within the alcohol industry and knowledge of the three-tier system is preferred but not required
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (evenings/weekends)
- Demonstrated skills in building rapport and productive relationships with customers and partners
- Must be results oriented and able to work both independently and in a team environment
- This person has a creative mind and knows how to connect our brands with an influential consumer audience.
- Strong spirits background, either through professional experience (e.g. bartending, marketing) or strong personal interest
- Willingness to travel within California up to 30% of the time, and the ability to visit local accounts in San Francisco-San Jose on a daily basis
- Digital Savvy understands the importance of social media and is able to leverage within the on-premise universe and has a large social network
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance
- 21+ years old
