Oak Creek Brewing Company in Sedona, AZ is looking for an assistant brewer! As an assistant brewer, you will be responsible for all aspects of brewing from grain to glass. Experience is always helpful, but we will train the right person.
Duties include but are not limited to:
CIP of fermentation vessels and brite beer tanks
Filtration using plate and frame filter
Operating 6 head bottle machine
Cleaning and filling kegs using IDD keg machine
Operating forklift, pallet jack and electric pallet jack
Performing cellar tasks
Representing the brewery at festivals and events
Brewing amazing beer
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
Pays great attention to detail
Is able to multitask
Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Is flexible in terms of scheduling and a willingness to work nights and/or weekends
Is passionate about craft beer
Has some understanding of the brewing or fermentation process
Is able to stand for long periods of time
Can work in hot and cold environments
Can regularly and repeatedly lift 55 lbs
Oak Creek Brewing Company is coming into its 25th year in the heart of the red rocks of Sedona. With our 15 bbl production brewhouse and 7 bbl pub brew house, we produce approximately 5000 bbl per year which is distributed across the state of Arizona.
