    The Opportunity
    Sleeping Giant Brewing Company (SGBC), located in Denver, Colorado, is searching for a Client Manager. The ideal candidate has strong sales, communication and business development capabilities and can demonstrate these skills to shape their future and that of SGBC as a rapidly growing brewery with significant long-term growth opportunities.

    Our Company
    SGBC has enjoyed tremendous growth as the first dedicated contract brewery in the Western United States and is now the largest brewery in Denver. We provide a unique workplace for many reasons, including our place in the craft beer industry. Known internationally as a top contract brewery for craft beer, we brewed and packaged over 65 different beers in 2018, won multiple World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival awards, shipped beer to over 30 states, and worked with partner breweries across the country and around the globe.

    Overview
    The SGBC Client Manager is the primary point of contact for communication between the SGBC staff and current & potential brewing clients. The Client Manager leads the company’s efforts to grow volume with current clients and identify, develop and acquire new clients. This role defines “The Voice of the Customer“ as they manage and build strong client relationships.

    Job Responsibilities
    Inside Sales & Business Development
    o Drive sales growth for SGBC by supporting growth and success of our partner clients.
    o Utilize sales experience to maintain a continuous flow of qualified clients.
    o Develop and maintain strong client relationships
    o Leads development of periodic Sales Planning and Sales Budgeting efforts
    o Lead development of Quarterly, Annual and 2-5 year Sales Projections to guide CapEx, Purchasing and Production Scheduling activities
    o Promote SGBC’s image and capabilities in the beer industry

    Communication
    o Primary point of contact for bi-directional communication & information between SGBC and the Clients
    o Effectively communicates account plans, budgets, and account reviews to SGBC staff.
    o Coordinate communication, both internal and external, to ensure effective onboarding of new clients
    o Strong Written and Communication Skills
    o Strong preference for direct contact communication (phone and in-person vs. email)

    Business Knowledge
    o Maintain and build a knowledge of the SGBC beer process sufficient to effectively communicate between SGBC and our clients
    o Build business cases to support or refute new development and opportunities

    Market Analysis
    o Utilize analytic tools and knowledge to champion market research and analysis
    o Utilize existing market analysis tools and develop tools unique to the SGBC contract brewing model

    Industry Interaction
    o Leverage strong industry experience and connections to further the growth of SGBC
    o Actively liaise with relevant Brewing societies, guilds, and associations
    o Stays current on and seeks out intelligence on new products, programs and promotional activities in the industry

    The Ideal Candidate…
    Enjoys the adult malt-beverage environment & the beer community; is self-motivated and results driven; and is decidedly outgoing in-person and on the phone. This candidate has a proven track record of multi-client account management. He or she has a BS/BA degree in a Business-related field, preferably sales, marketing, business strategy/analytics. An MBA is a plus.
    This person demonstrates and shares their knowledge of strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Finally, he or she has experience in traveling efficiently and effectively 10-25% of the time, locally, regionally, and nationally.

    Compensation Package
    Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and includes:
