    Objective:

    This position will primarily be working with the Wild Basin cellar and packaging line. This person will ensure that the department is operating with maximum efficiency; while keeping a high standard of quality, safe practices and effective communication.



    Essential Responsibilities

    • Hires, develops, reviews and counsels department employees and manages Wild Basin department.
    • Works with packaging manager to develop SOP’s and properly train employees.
    • Develops and maintains training records for each brewing employee and performs regular audits of all department employees to ensure proper execution of SOPs.
    • Works with QA/QC manager to develop quality standards for cellar work, final packaging and cleaning of packaging lines/production area.
    • Works with safety chair to develop a thorough Safety Program.
    • Develops a preventative maintenance schedule and spare parts inventory for all equipment.
    • Enters all Production Orders into Orchestrated Beer, in as real-time as possible.
    • Communicates to the Wild Basin email group, any delays in production.




    Additional Responsibilities

    Performs other duties as required or assigned.


    Requirements
    This position requires evening and weekend availability as needed.

    • Knowledge of brewing, cellar, packaging, quality, utilities, maintenance, and safety operations.

    • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with coworkers and other departments.



    Physical & Mental Requirements

    Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 50-165 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
