    Exhibit 'A' Brewing is looking for quality candidates for our growing brewery!
    Packaging Operator / Cellarperson

    Job Summary:
    Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company, a production brewery and taproom operating in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Packaging Operator / Cellarperson to join our team. This is an hourly position responsible for the daily operational duties within the packaging department. This position reports to our Lead Brewer and Co-Founder / Head Brewer. This position will also be required to perform brewery cellar duties as needed.

    Essential Job Functions:
    Requires maintaining a safe and secure working environment within the packaging department at all times. Continually evaluates and updates packaging SOPs and standards of excellence regarding safety and production.
    Ability to create and accurately follow SOPs and understanding of specific beer process terminologies.
    Displays effective communication skills on a daily basis with all employees, management, customers, guests, and vendors.
    Operates both manual and computer automated process equipment while maintaining our high quality standards.
    Ability to operate and maintain bottling and canning line equipment including (but not limited to) automated de-palletizer, twist rinser, can seamer, conveyor belts, bottle and can rinsers and dryers, automated date coder, Filtec check-weigher, Pack Leader PL150 labeler, accumulation conveyance system, semi-automated bottling machine.
    Experience operating and maintaining a Wild Goose Can filler is preferred.
    Ability to operate and maintain our Premier Stainless semi-automated keg washer
    Must be able to lift 55 pounds and repeatedly maneuver (but never solo lift) up to 175-pound kegs.
    Assists the Lead Brewer and Head Brewer with production scheduling needs for efficient and effective operations.
    Follows environmental and safety regulations (and the associated SOPs) and acts in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accepted business ethics concerning personal and others’ safety, keeping conservation and process efficiency in mind.
    Must be able and willing to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the brewery.
    Must be willing to be on call in the event of equipment failure or production staffing needs. Night shifts and weekend shifts may be required due to variations in production scheduling and maintenance for equipment.
    Must demonstrate a professional and engaged demeanor at all times and treat every employee, customer, vendor, and/or client with dignity and respect in all interactions.
    Able to perform any and all required maintenance on all packaging equipment.
    Perform weekly and monthly inventory audits and reconciliation of overages/shortages of materials and parts.
    Willingness to be an active production team member: always be actively and efficiently performing tasks, twist, stoop, dance, laugh, crouch, stand, sit, try to reach something that’s hard to reach, walk, taste beer for quality analysis, taste beer for fun, make good decisions (on-duty), make a couple less than good decisions (off-duty), attend a couple concerts a year, pick your favorite music to play in the brewery, stand on feet for 8-10 hour shifts and have a good time doing it.
    Willingness to perform many other duties as needed, desired and assigned.

    Dependability: Candidate is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
    Safety & Security: Candidate must always observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

    Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
    M
    inimum of 21 years of age and 2 years experience in Beverage Packaging and Mechanical Systems, Packaging Technology or similar technical relevant work experience.
    The candidate should possess a strong understanding of all areas of safety and packaging standards.
    Must be self-motivated,have good written skills and excellent verbal communication.
    Candidate must be able to work under stressful situations unique to the environment of a fast-paced manufacturing environment / production brewery. This position also requires excellent time management skills as well as very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    Candidates must be proficient in MS Office software including Excel and Word. EKOS Brewmaster Brewery Management Software knowledge is a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Previous experience as a Packaging Technician or Packaging Department Operator. Preference given to applicants who have completed Brewery Packaging Technology coursework through the Master Brewers Association (not a requirement at time of hire).

    Compensation:
    Hourly, Negotiable, based on experience.
