Job Title: Brewer
Job Description: Lonerider Brewing Company is currently accepting applications for a full time Brewer. This candidate should have a strong passion for producing top quality craft beer. This position requires working independently as well with other employees. Working evenings and weekends is required during peak production. A strong knowledge of the brewing process is absolutely required and applicants with previous experience are preferred.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to.
Work with other brewers in all aspects of the brewing process (wort production, cellaring, handling of raw materials, yeast management, record keeping and cleaning).
Follow standard operating procedures for all duties pertaining to the job description.
Work independently on scheduled brewing shifts.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Ability to assist other co workers as needed.
Brewery representation (brewery tours, beer dinners, misc. events).
Requirements
Able to lift 55lbs over head.
Able to work nights and weekends.
Knowledge of the brewing process.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to work in a brewery environment (tight quarters, cold winters and hot summers, kneeling, climbing ladders etc).
2+ years experience in a production brewery is preferred.
Strong will to learn and become an expert in their role with the brewery.
Valid drivers license.
