    Ideal Candidate qualifications:

    -Outgoing and friendly.
West O culture is important. You should be able to have fun! We want to engage people and make them feel like part of the West O family.
Be responsible. Let’s face it, we’ve all had a drink too many from time to time. That being said, we value responsibility. If you’ve had drinks at an event, calling an Uber is always the right choice. Driving impaired is never acceptable. We want to encourage good healthy consumption, not the biggest party consumers can find.
Don’t be a jerk. Fighting, obnoxious behavior, being a drunken idiot; all of these things are the opposite of West O culture. Be the one in the room who is fun. We love to have a good time, and that means being a good person.

-Knowledgeable about craft beer and the industry
Maybe you have been into craft since before it was cool, or maybe you’re new to the scene. Either way, knowing about West O’s beer and who we are is VITAL. We’ll teach you, and you’ll have fun doing it! We have a wide variety of styles and flavors, and the list keeps growing.
Already possess, or be willing to learn about off flavors in beer. While we appreciate you being able to identify it in other beers, we will depend on you to be our first line of defense against bad product in the market. If you catch one of our beers that doesn’t taste right, take ownership and work with our production team to track down other potential issues.
Have a working knowledge, or be willing to learn about the industry. There are so many breweries and craft beer bars opening up. Knowing the people, the market, the competition, and the trends helps us sell more beer!

    -Organized and a self starter
We’re not gonna be breathing down your neck. We want you to own your position and responsibilities. There’s accountability and reporting but we won’t be jerks about it.
Be able to accomplish tasks, and motivate yourself. Your success in the market will rise and fall with you. We’ll give you all the tools, training, and product, but you’ll have to use all that to grow and succeed!
Be willing to learn from others. We are all constantly learning new strategies, and ways to grow ourselves and our brand. Someone might come to you with a new idea, don’t dismiss it, or be offended. Being open, teachable and standing on the shoulders of other successes makes us all better!
